So, tis farewell, Shell!!

It's a day that Ken Saro-Wiwa campaigned long and hard for and his activism ultimately cost him his life. His sacrifice inspired his people to continue the struggle and their efforts culminated in Shell's pull out. The Nigerian government has said that Shell's replacement will be a company acceptable to the Ogoni, after all the oil is on their land. In the meantime, Shell should be tried for the environmental crimes they have committed in the Niger Delta.
